We felt strongly that Curcumin should be included as one of our foundational supplement ingredients.  Curcumin is a powerful anti-oxidant that has been the subject of thousands of clinical studies over the past 10 years.  It can regulate the expression and activity of inflammatory mediators and healthful growth factors, helping to reduce connective tissue inflammation and provide pain relief.

Boswellia is one of the most ancient and valued herbs utilized for anti-inflammation, prized by the Romans, Greeks, and Egyptians. It is known to cause inhibition of inflammation-producing cells in an inflamed area.  It has also been shown to reduce the destruction of joint tissue components such as glycosaminoglycans.  Clinical trials have shown Boswellia to
reduce symptoms in both osteo and rheumatoid arthritis patients.

The main structural component of cartilage is Collagen Type II.  Studies have shown that taking oral Collagen Type II has helped to reduce pain in both osteo and rheumatoid arthritis, so we
felt that it should be a significant component to our Joint and Bone supplement.  Collagen Type II, in combination with both Curcumin and Boswellia, gives you an outstanding supplement, which may have the potential to both reduce arthritis symptoms.   By improving the health of the inflamed tissue we aim to treat with our natural biologic protocols, we can better affect an even greater outcome clinically than we would achieve with our biologic protocols alone.
